Established in 1996

Dr. Doug earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Detroit in 1988 and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Michigan State University in 1992. Dr. Molly and Dr. Doug have three children: Frances, Margaret, and David. They live on a farm in neighboring Washington Township where they raise Hampshire sheep and Boer goats. In Dr. Doug’s spare time, he enjoys bicycling, jogging, gardening, and following the Spartan sports teams. Dr. Doug Angel

Dr. Molly was raised on a small hobby farm here in Washington and attended Baldwin Elementary, Van Hoosen Jr. High, and Adams High School. She then ventured out west to Utah State University to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in bio-veterinary science before returning to Michigan State University for veterinary school. Dr. Molly has a special interest in veterinary dentistry and became a Fellow of the Academy of Veterinary Dentistry in 2015. In addition, she is participating in a post-graduate training program in veterinary dentistry following the guidance of Ben Colmery, DVM, DipAVDC and Ruth Barthel, DVM, DipAVDC. She enjoys raising the Angel children, lambs, kids, and crias. In her spare time, you may spot Dr. Molly at any sheep show or even riding her mountain bike around the park!
Dr. Jill Savage is a 2001 graduate of the Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation, she completed an internship in internal medicine, surgery, and emergency and critical care at the Companion Animal Hospital of Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. Dr. Savage has a broad range of interests, however she is particularly interested in challenging medical cases. She lives with her husband, Sean, and their son, Noah. The rest of their family includes Finnegan, a yellow Labrador Retriever, Tilly the cat, a ball python named Obi, a bearded dragon named Einstein, and fish. Dr. Savage's hobbies include reading, writing, art, baking, decorating, and travel. She especially loves conservation and almost any kind of outdoor activity. Dr. Jill Savage

Dr. Kristina Yee

Dr. Kristina Yee is a 2006 graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Originally from Troy, she completed her undergraduate studies at Michigan State University, spent 2.5 years on the Caribbean island of St. Kitts studying veterinary medicine, and completed her clinical training at The Ohio State University. With primary interests in companion animal medicine and surgery, she is also passionate about business management, professional development, and public speaking. When she is not practicing or lecturing at veterinary schools, she loves spending time with her family, taking her dogs (Ernie and Peanut) to the dog park, and catching Detroit Tiger home runs at Comerica Park. Dr. Yee joined the GVC family in the Fall of 2007, and looks forward to creating many memorable friendships!
Dr. Jennifer Catalina earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University in 2002 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University in 2007. She and her husband have four children (one boy and three girls) and four fur-children (one dog and three cats, all girls). Though the majority of her patients are small companion animals, Dr. Catalina has an interest in pocket pets and exotics. She also has special interest in the fields of dentistry and surgery. Dr. Catalina is very family-oriented and loves to teach/educate. In addition, she likes concerts, golfing, reading, and playing games, whether physical (any sport) or academic (board games, trivia, etc.). She hopes to see familiar faces here at GVC and is also looking forward to establishing new relationships with clients and their pets. Dr. Jennifer Catalina

Dr. Ann Callahan

Dr. Ann Callahan is very happy to join the Goodison Veterinary Center team. Originally from Birmingham, Dr. Callahan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 1993 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1997 from Michigan State University. Following graduation, she completed a one year rotating medical and surgical internship at the University of Missouri in Columbia. After her internship, Dr. Callahan moved out to Los Angeles, California to practice at a busy exotic and small animal hospital in Santa Monica. She spent a few years there working with exotic specialists and seeing numerous celebrities with their pets. In 2001, Dr. Callahan moved back to Michigan to be closer to family. She has been practicing in the area ever since. She lives with her twin daughters, her son, and their English cream longhaired miniature Dachshund, Lily. Dr. Callahan has a special interest in improving the human-animal bond by focusing on quality of life and preventative care. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, exercising, outdoor sports (like biking, golfing, downhill skiing), and cooking.
