Tick Alert

Please be aware that our area is currently experiencing a serious and significant increase in the tick population. This includes suburban neighborhoods and places where ticks have not been a problem in the past. In fact, we've talked to many owners who've had tick exposure THEMSELVES, when they've never even seen a tick before.

TickProtect your pets from ticks with monthly preventive medication. We recommend once monthly use of Frontline Gold (topical product) or NexGard (oral chewable), both of which also protect against fleas. We stock them routinely and have competitive prices.

It's also a good idea to get into the habit of regularly checking your furry family member for ticks after any possible exposure. Remember to protect yourselves, too.

And if you want to find out more about why it's important to prevent tick infestation, how to fight these creepy crawlers, and what to do if you find a tick, you can read more in our article on external parasites.
